Ladytron - Velocifero
If you have been listening to the Radio Free Charlotte since the beginning of this school year then you should be no stranger to the new wave sounds of Ladytron. The fourth album Velocifero was released in February, 2008, and was recorded in Paris, however the worldwide release was not until June. Ladytron formed in Liverpool, UK during the summer of 1999. The band has remixed with a handful of artists including Bloc Party, She Wants Revenge, and Blondie. Velocifero tracks are full of electro beats and fuzzy guitar riffs. It has been referred to as a perfect hybrid of their previous albums "Light & Magic" and "Witching Hour".
